Over the years, we have established strict quality standards. All our welders, inspectors, and quality assurance technicians are certified by the American Welding Society in the United States.

North State Steel follows good practices that identify any challenges early in the process, so that all of the team’s concerns can be addressed simultaneously. If the drawings come back from approval and not all of the concerns are addressed, or the answers are unclear, then an RFI is sent.

Frequent areas of concern with steel roofs and decks are: net uplift value, rollover forces, fatigue design, diaphragm capacity, cantilevers, and welds.
